It was a question the had Paul really curious about, especially in a town that was soccer-crazy. El Gato explains that he resolved this problem by exploring the jungle. He felt surrounded by so much jungle that he decided to go into it to find a way out. He explored deeper and deeper into it, despite the frightening stories his Nana told him of ghosts and the Waiting Dead. His father disapproved of his adventures as well, knowing first hand the danger that the jungle contained. Even with all the warnings, he continued to do so. Exploring and searching for something he wasn't quite sure of.
